1986年以来、日本語版制作、外国語版制作、映像コンテンツ配給、ポストプロダクションスタジオ運営等に取り組んできた株式会社テレシスが、2007年11月、制作部門を100％子会社に移管。制作スタッフは全員移籍し、それまで以上に制作業務に専念する体制が整いました。それが株式会社テレシスUiの始まりです。

テレシスUiの名前に込めた想い　「Ui = YOU & I」“YOU”と“I”が力を合わせ、よりよい番組、よりよい会社、そしてよりよい世界へと飛躍していこうという願いをこめた。　「Ui = 友愛」日本語版外国語版制作を通した国際文化交流への貢献という、テレシスの創業理念のひとつに通じる言葉である。「Ui = WE」みんなで力を合わせ、支え合い、高め合っていけば、苦難の道も進んでいける。WEの範囲は会社にとどまらず、どこまでも広げていくことができるだろう。　「Ui(oui) = YES」“Yes”という言葉には、現在、過去、そして未来を肯定する力強さがある。積み重ねてきた過去を肯定し、そこを出発点として未来に向かっていく会社であり続けたい。

Telesis Ui, launched in November 2007, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telesis Corporation. The parent company has been engaged since 1986 in producing or post-producing Japanese-language and foreign-language programs, in distributing video content, and in studio management.

Unified executive leadership is provided by Sen Satoguchi, vice president of Telesis Corporation since its founding and now president of Telesis Ui. Production staff from Telesis Corporation moved to Telesis Ui, where they are now able to concentrate more exclusively than before on production and post-production matters.

1986.11	Telesis Corporation is founded in Tokyo´s Shinjuku 2-chome district.
1990.11	Studio Uni is established in Tokyo´s Kagurazaka 2-chome district as an affiliated studio, a function it continues to perform with Telesis Ui.
1991.05	Telesis Corp. moves to Yamada Bldg. in Kagurazaka 3-chome.
1993.06	Telesis Corp. acquires full control of Studio Uni, which now functions as its in-house studio.
1993.07	Telesis International is founded as a 100% subsidiary of Telesis Corp., focusing on the international versioning of Japanese TV programs, the distribution of video content, the creation and marketing of DVD software, etc.
2007.11	Telesis Ui is founded as a 100% subsidiary of Telesis Corp.
2008.08	Telesis Ui is made independent of Telesis Corp.
2009.04	Telesis Ui moves to Hillside Kagurazaka Bldg. in Kagurazaka 3-chome.
